I’m Ben and welcome to my Blog. Some of my interests include sport, maths, and eating Indian food. I am married to an amazing woman, have the most gorgeous daughter, and the cheekiest dog in Australia. I’m currently teaching high school maths at Northern Beaches Christian School on Sydney’s north shore, and Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning. I’m passionate about making maths enjoyable and accessible for all students. This Blog is about different things that i’ve been reading about and trying with some of my classes.

When I went to school, I used to sleep in class. My aim is to continually provide my students with a positive experience in the classroom, so they want to stay awake! Bring it on!

  1. I used to sleep through the middle part of uni lectures. They were just too geared towards people who liked to listen or had auditory learning preferences. It’s torture in that context.
